Honored to be featured in the first issue of the first volume of the new music publication, Brilliant Corners, and excited to have a place to write things in the first person for a change!
It’s a very personal essay on one of my favorite albums, the Black Eyes S/T. It’s also about trauma and mental health, how abuse complicates desire, and how connecting our suffering to the suffering of others helps us feel less alone and more able to name our experiences and resist.
