Made a paper tracklist totally unnecessarily, but soon I will have an operational dual cassette deck again.
Here is a mix for a springtime in quarantine. Equal parts classics and that new new. I have decided that all my mixes of 2020 will begin with criminally underrated Liliput songs……….
I am working to get caught up with all the albums I want to review and artists I wanna interview, but I decided to drop this mix first, in order for y’all to at least be exposed to some of the new tunes I will be talking about while I work on writing about them more intentionally in the coming weeks….
Born at Fairview General Hospital in the Year of the Reformation of Pere Ubu, when Jane Scott still ruled the Land. Born of the cybertronic union of Planet E and Channel Z, "getting nothing but static" and techno liberation thru space. I try to imbue music journalism with meaning beyond moving units and I am working on a book about the development and enormous influence of punk and art rock in Northeast Ohio. Hard Femme, more than a bit of an iconoclast. she/her/Miss Sir.
